In his first full appearance of the season Paul "The Goal" Banoub, the new pretender to the hallowed number 9 shirt of Logica F.C. bags his first goals for the club. The salvo was aimed at the high profile management committee of Logica F.C. who have left the enthusiastic new boy freezing his nuts off on the touchlines for most of the season.

"It just shows what I can do when given the chance" blasted the hitman after the unlucky 3-2 loss to Moon FC.

"I was having words with my agent regarding a possible transfer, but now the goals have arrived I may re-consider, but only if a significantly improved contract is tabled"

Banoub's first goal came courtesy of a mix up in the Moon defence. A well timed run by the gangly Spence gave him a 1 on 1 with the keeper. As the big Scot attempted to round the goalie, the ball bobbled out to Banoub, who calmly finished from 10 yards.

In the early period of the second half Banoub netted again. A low right wing cross deflected to Banoub, and although the ball was a foot or so behind him, the balding Boro boy showed great agility to swivel and hook the ball into the net from six yards.

Banoub put the improvement down to inspired Sidaway management and the absence of the much maligned Abbott, who's non-appearance seemed to lift his team mates.

A tremendous team display was marred only by the result, which was a true sickener.
