It was a hard result to stomach. Logica had played well, defended stoutly, and created some good chances. Indeed Logica would have felt a little aggrieved at only getting a point after having two Pete Chapman 'goals' disallowed amidst a flurry of contentious offside decisions. So a last minute winner from Crown only served to rub a large amount of salt into an already gaping wound.

It was centre half Dan Bennett who ran away with this week's MoM vote after impressing one and all on his debut. "A rock at the back" with some solid and uncompromising tackling, his leadership was also praised: Bennett "marshalled the Defence superbly well" one marshallee gratefully acknowledged.

There were also votes for Andy Hudson who donned the gloves in Mad Dog's absence. He "looks like a natural between the sticks" gushed one awe-struck voter, whilst others noted that the treacherously frozen pitch only served to add merit to his impressive display.
