Just weeks into the new year, and Logica FC are already involved in a number of big money transfers. It is a sad fact of life in lower league football that a successful club will have it's best players poached by the footballing super-powers. But strangely it now seems that Logica is suffering from this phenomenon as well.

First to announce his departure was JAKE GOW, tempted away by an unnamed big club in the south-east of England. Gow leaves Logica shortly, and will be doing the honours in The Square near Stephenson House this Friday (14th).

And following Gow out the door is Legend of Yesteryear, GRAHAM READ, who has been tempted away to the J-League to end his playing days. Readie has been appointed Head of Technical Operations for Hitachi Europe. We at "If Selected..." Towers know little about "technical operations", but suspect this must be a Japanese term for Director of Football. Readie will be saying goodbye at The Horse and Groom near GMS on 21st January.
