NOT CONTENT with being from a third world hilly country, the Wise Supremo showed he was human (if not humane!) by succumbing to bitter, vindictive team selection policies. What am I talking about? Leaving England's Number One supporter on the bench, that's what!!

And just because England HAMMERED the Scots 2-0 the previous day.

WISE UP SUPREMO! PLAY YOUR BEST TEAM AT ALL TIMES! DON'T SELECT ON THE BASIS OF HOW SCOTLAND DO!!

ITS JUST AS WELL WE HAVE NO PERUVIANS, MORROCANS, COSTA RICANS, IRANIANS, URUGUAYANS, BRAZILIANS, AUSTRIANS, PARAGUAYANS, FRENCHMEN, RUSSIANS, DANES, GERMANS, OR NORWEGIANS IN THE TEAM!

What are the management gonna do to improve spectator facilities at home games, eh?

It's a sorry day when 00,000 come to watch Logica play football, like last Sunday (15/11/99). There were days when there were often crowds of 00, 020 (many of them, girls whose names the players didn't know coz they'd just met them the night before!!). All this was before Heysel of course.....

A WARNING TO THE WISE SUPREMO:- It wasn't in the curriculum when I became a qualified FA Coach, but management of the footballer's mind is very much part of the terrain these days. It's distressing to note that the list of great soccer venues in this country now includes 'The Priory' as the one most frequented by (once) great footballers.

I recall helping Johninho through his temperament problems in the early 90's. Sadly, his case was one where the phrase "PSYCHOLOGICAL HELP" rightly contained the words PSYCHO, LOGICA and HELP!!!
