Fed up with the dictatorial way that we, hiding here in the "If Selected..." bunker, glibly announce the Man of the Match award without even a hint of consultation with the knowledgeable man in the street? Some of you apparently are, because our post-bag has sporadically bulged with complaints that we have got the wrong man. Well, inspired by the recent elections state-side, we thought we'd try our hand at a bit of that democracy lark.

We hereby erect our weekly e-Polling Booth, where you the players and attendant supporters can vote for the player from last Sunday's match that you think best deserves the title of MoM. Simply select your choice from the list and click on :-

Voting ends at midnight on Thursday when the winner will duly be recorded in the history books via the relevant match report.

We must apologise that initially, due to some suspicious mis-printing of the ballot papers, we are restricted to just ten voting options. But if the outcome is close, we will instigate a manual recount or ten, and if that fails to assuage you suffrage-seekers, we'll probably leave it to the Supreme Court to decide the winner.
