The threat to democracy has not completely receded, but this week's Man of the Match poll has produced a clear winner that few would disagree with. It was Kiran Amin's first start in a Logica shirt (having made just one previous appearance as a substitute), and he turned in a polished midfield display which combined strong defending and dangerous attacking play. Not content with some terrier like tackling which regularly won the ball back for Logica, Amin was Logica's most likely source of a goal with a succession of skilful runs that caused panic in the Radnor rearguard.

In the runners-up spot was Paul Mainwaring, who marshalled a makeshift back four to great effect whilst playing out of position himself at centre-half. Other players to poll votes this week were Jez Brown, Craig Taylor and, perhaps a little surprisingly, second half substitute Mike Marsh.
