Whilst London Radnor may have had a field day against our porous defence, Logica also had a Field day of another kind. Whilst his colleagues struggled to play a simple pass to one another, Mercer Field came on at half-time and made quite an impact. Taking the game to the opposition, Field demonstrated some direct running and no little skill to at least help Logica restore some pride. It was Field's strong runs down the right, each culminating in a dangerous cross, that led to both of Logica's goals, and he was in the thick of the action for the whole of the second half. Such was the outstanding nature of his display, that he was duly elected Man of the Match by a country mile.
