Logica may have fielded a star-studded line-up of household names, but it was a young goalkeeper who captured most votes at the Polling Booth. As well as an almost faultless display that included some spectacular saves, penalty box domination, the novelty of back four organisation, and not to mention a readiness to receive pass-backs, Richard Booth was also able to win the sympathy vote after breaking a rib in one of many brave aerial takes.

The rest of the field couldn't really compete with all that, although midfield aces Reevaldo and Loriot gave it a good shot with over a fifth of the votes polled each. And it is perhaps a reflection of the depth of quality in this particular squad that a further four players also polled votes: Dav Gautam, Jeff Hatton, Dave Holton and Paul Mainwaring.
