A disappointing performance, and a result to match, against a team who seem to have a jinx over Logica. Pete Chapman was good at the back as ever, combining some shrewd defensive nous with agressive strength, although he did come off second best when clattered by Rob Sapwell in the second half. The keeper himself, who could do little about any of the goals, had a solid game which earned him some nods from the MoM electorate.
One of the few silver linings for the Supremo will be the continued progress of Dav Gautam towards full fitness, this being his third ninety minutes since returning from an 18 month lay-off and a knee operation. The midfielder competed well throughout, and in the second half in particular, his old guile and neat distribution was to the fore once more.
