It was an embarrassing start to the season as Logica crashed 8-0 to an impressive Broadway outfit. Logica looked rusty, lacking match fitness, and slow to react, especially in a first half in which they conceded six. After the interval, some pride was restored as Logica at least made it harder for the visitors to score. Hattons Minor and Major did as much as anyone to trigger this slight improvement, the former for a number of well-timed tackles in his own box, the latter for a brave challenge with his nose that ended only in a pool of nasal blood. Elsewhere Ross Melville got a nod, perhaps for managing Logica's only attempt on goal from an 85th minute free-kick.
