A disappointing result, after one of our better performances of the season failed to earn three points mainly due to a plethora of missed chances. No fewer than 8 players earned nominations this week, which suggests either a good all-round team display or that the majority of players were indistinguishably average. Such an accusation cannot be levelled at Nich Fazel, who uncomplainingly filled an unfamiliar right-back berth to great effect, getting up and down the right flank all morning with some solid defending as well as providing some valuable support to the attack. Dav Gautam's goal and fine display of passing was also acknowledged, whilst the Silver Fox won further plaudits, proving he can impress just as much in a starting position as coming off the bench.

Note: A large swathe of two votes for Senor Trovato had to be ruled ineligible after the e-ballot papers were adjudged to be spoiled - partly as they had been signed Statler and Waldorf, and partly due to some semi-illegible scrawlings about Italian stallions.
