For the second week running Logica fell to an uninspiring defeat, with only the loss of an hour's sleep to explain away their soporific display. Rob Corbett was wide awake, however, and in his first full domestic start for the club showed himself to be a highly combative all-rounder with a sure-fire touch to boot. After a first half spent trying to hold back the white tide at centre half, he impressed even more after the interval as he added some competitive edge to the midfield. Regularly getting amongst the opposition to reclaim possession, he also was quick to try and prompt attacks with some simple but effective passes. The only regret is that Corbett wasn't available earlier in the season. Surely it wouldn't have been such an early goodnight from us in the Little Ron Cup quarter-final with Corbett sitting in midfield?!
