Logica for the most part struggled to get back into the swing of things against Portman Arms after an enforced winter break. But no such problem for Mad Dog Sapwell, who was as sharp as a tack from the off. A string of fine saves, coupled with some woeful Arms finishing, kept Logica in the hunt right upto the end, when the balance of chances created should have seen Portman out of sight before half time. The best of some vital stops was a full length tip around the post of a close range header that had "GOAL" written all over it.

The pick of the outfield players was James Buck, whose energetic battling to the end was a fine example to his team-mates. The Supremo also picked up over 10% of the votes cast for his best performance of the season so far, and also we presume for managing to last until well after half time before taking himself off for a fag [A cigarette, that is - we're not casting any aspersions on his replacement Banoub].
