Three finely taken goals from Nigel Hoyland secured Logica's first win of the season at the eighth time of asking, and may yet provide a much needed boost in confidence that begins to turn the campaign around. With the team having scored just five times all season Hoyzone's triple was desperately needed, and his efforts saw him convincingly walk off with this week's MoM Award, many voters picking out his diving header as the best of the bunch.
Even more promisingly, Matt Downs secured enough votes to finish as runner-up in his first Logica start. Having made a brief debut as substitute the previous week against Croydon, Downs earned himself a starting place on the right-hand side of midfield and impressed in the Logica victory, one voter praising him as a "tireless worker down the right flank". Elsewhere, arch-supplier of bullets Dav Gautam and midfield enforcer Steve Preston also got a nod.
