Logica continued the form of the previous week and put in an impressive display for the most part, competing all the way to the final whistle. In the end, the Alliance proved too strong, with their impressive number 8 ultimately the difference between the two sides. Things might have been different had Logica taken a few of the chances they carved out via some neat passing, but it was not to be.
Jamie Heath got the nod to play up front, and responded with an excellent display, combining his skills and determination to great effect. He tended to drop deep, linking the attack and the midfield (a bit like Steven Gerrard's new role, playing just behind Abbo in the Torres role), but also made some great runs to get into shooting positions. As one voter astutely observed, Heath "seemed to be involved in a lot of the more inspiring stuff."
Just behind Heath, was Joe Tallett, who again greatly impressed in his second appearance, showing his versatility by playing on the left side of midfield this week. The new man again added bite as well as guile, the midfield quartet excelling once more as a collective unit. "[Tallett] played very well, hustled coming back, and went forward effectively," opined one man as he left the ballot box. Elsewhere Ross Melville was yet again amongst the votes for another outstanding display, as was keeper Rob Sapwell for a top class chauffeuring performance.
