PEN PICTURE The "If Selected..." View: In a remarkably quick period of time, Fernando has established himself as a key member of a revitalised Logica side. The club were extremely lucky that the young hopeful ever played a second game for the club. His debut saw a record equalling 11-0 thrashing at the hands of West Ten, and he can't have been overly impressed at the quality he saw around him. But not only did he come back for more, he went on to play in every match up until the end of that season - an even more remarkable feat considering that he was living at the Northern most tip of London at the time. As well as a remarkably committed player, Logica had also acquired themselves a very talented footballer. From his debut onwards, Fernando has proved himself a calm and intelligent footballer, a player always keen to get the ball on the deck and pass to a colleague's feet. He combines good vision with a deceptive pace, and his creative talents are complemented by defensive strengths: strong in the tackle, a good reader of the game, Fernando also shows a terrier-like enthusiasm for tracking back. His all-round skills have seen him excel in the centre of defence, at full-back, and in midfield. Most recently that other rare attribute - a left peg - has seen him make the left-sided midfield role his own. But wherever he plays for Logica, the Supremo will be hoping he does so for many years to come. EXPERIENCE
