Another tough game, this time against possibly our closest rivals for that Championship. Logica returned to their beloved astroturf after an absence of five months, but found the opposition relishing the near-perfect surface. Gucci put Logica under much pressure in the opening quarter, and squandered two good chances.
Logica took time to get their passing game going, but when they did it had instant effect. A flowing move down the right ended with crossing a bit too long, but persevered, and hooked the ball back somehow for to volley home.
A brllliant second by put Logica in a strong position at half-time. Receiving the ball in his own half, he beat one man before out-pacing a second defender, and finished this solo move by lobbing [Really? - Ed] the Gucci keeper perfectly from 25 yards.
A scrappy second half began with Gucci pulling back a goal early on, after their forward had blatantly fouled centre-half to reach the ball first. The game continued fairly evenly until in clinically conclusive style hit a third for Logica from just outside the box, to secure a very important victory.
