30th August 1998:
Oakwood 2-6 Logica.
I believe it was the first game of the 1998/99 season
against Oakwood. We won something like 5-2 and I thought what a good team I have joined. Several months later we were still searching for our second victory and the opportunity to get eleven players awake on a Sunday morning. Reality had set in!

Greatest Footballing Moment:
Personal: Captaining Beaumont Hall to Intra-mural Championship at University. Winning the Shropshire Youth County Cup at Gay Meadow (Shrewsbury Town) for Oswestry Boys Club.
Man Utd: Ryan Giggs' winner v. Arsenal in 1999 FA Cup Semi -Final. Solskjaer's winner against Bayern Munich in the Champion's League Final 1999.
Worst Footballing Moment:
Personal: Getting hammered 6-0 and 3-1 in two Shropshire County Cup Finals at Bucks Head (Telford United) and Gay Meadow (Shrewsbury Town) in quick succession.
Man Utd: Man U losing the league to Blackburn in 1994. Losing 1-0 to Arsenal at Old Trafford in 1998.

Interesting Trivia:
Once marked Robbie Fowler while playing friendly for Oswestry Boys Club against Liverpool youth. Five minutes into game, our keeper came out for a corner and punched me out cold. I was carried off and Fowler went on to score seven in a 10-0 victory (it was 0-0 when I went off!).
