For the second consecutive league game, Logica turned in an outstanding performance to claim a vital win against a key relegation rival. As against Maxilla, they battled back from a goal down with a devastating second half performance in the sheeting rain to score three times and move themselves off the bottom of the table for the first time this season.

It could have been so different, with Mad Dog Sapwell brilliantly blocking a controvertially awarded penalty when the game was still goalless. This and a couple of excellent second half saves saw the Supreme keeper just edge the voting in this week's MoM Poll. But that this win was achieved via an all-round team performance was confirmed by the fact that no fewer than seven players polled votes this week in a bumper turn-out at the polling stations. Scaramanga, Damo and Syme had to settle for a runners-up spot, whilst Mitch, Chris Dann and Abbo also drew some admirers.
