In the beginning there was and was good and the team saw that was good, and yea they did follow him on the green pastures and on the astroturf and even on the Scrubs. And all was well with the team.

But even as a great lead was forged at the top of the league spake to the team saying "In every man's life there comes a time to move on to new pastures, fresh challenges and a fat salary." And a sadness was upon the team.

Dark days followed and the spirit of the team flickered in the vale of Millfields where battle upon battle was waged with rivals Sarkpoint. And a dread was upon the team.

Now , who is wise beyond comprehension had named a successor and he was called and through the dark days had faith in saying "He's a bloody good player, Brian." And hope came to the team.

And the team saw that was good and yea they did follow him on the green pastures and on the astroturf and yea even unto the Scrubs (but not up the M1). And all was well with the team.

And as spring dawned with renewed spirit the team did fight the last battle with Sarkpoint and they did win the Memorial Shield and on the fourth day afterwards they did clinch the Championship. And the team were over the moon Brian.
