Preferred Playing Position: Anywhere in Defence
Other Position: Have played in every position for LFC. Not quite up to the Spence All-Time-Greatest-XI standard, but did a job.
Playing Strengths: Daft enough to play in goal.
Playing Weaknesses: Daft enough to play in goal. Also eyesight, height, pace, strength, stamina and the lack thereof these days.

EXPERIENCE

Date Joined Logica: 16th October 1995.
Logica FC Debut: 19th November 1995: Battersea Park 4-0 Logica. 4-0 defeat v Battersea Park, 95-96 season. The last game in which I was reasonably fit. I was quite nervous before the game. Not so much because I was concerned about how high the standard would be, but because Steve Lambert handed me a tube of Deep Heat and asked for a rub. Very nervous.
Previous Teams: Kettins AFC, Blairgowrie U16s, Errol Rovers U14s, Burrelton U12s, Blairgowrie High School, Alyth High School, Alyth Cub Scouts.
Greatest Footballing Moment: Winning the U14 cup at school. We were the smallest school in the county and stuffed the biggest school 7-2 in the final. My school has since been closed due to a lack of interest. Also Dundee Utd beating Barcelona home and away in the Uefa Cup semi-final in 1987 (I think).
Worst Footballing Moment: Losing the school league and cup to the same big school in the final two games of the next season. Dundee Utd losing in the Uefa Cup Final to Gothenburg. Breaking collar bone playing for LFC - it still hurts now.

INTEREST

Model Pro (Models His Game on You): Gordon Strachan - short, ginger Scotsman.
Favourite All-Time Player: Kenny Dalglish. His talent on the field is matched only by his miserableness off it.
Pre-Match Superstition: Two dumps before kick-off on Sunday morning. Nothing surer.
Interesting Trivia: Played at McDairmid Park (St Johnstone)...in a brass band. I have a Scottish Cup winners medal. But that's the brass band thing again. My brother won two proper ones - someone had to get the talent in the family.
